Premium Currencies
Create a Premium Currency
Open Loot can provide support for your game's premium currencies. These are traditional currencies you would typically find in a free-to-play game economy. These currencies are not used on the Open Loot Marketplace to directly buy NFTs. Their utility is intended to be for in-game purposes. On Open Loot, we will hold the balance of the premium currency, as well as offer the marketplace options for purchasing the premium currency. We support premium currencies in three different flavors:
- Sellable: These premium currencies are sold on the Open Loot platform directly to the users. They can also be earned in-game.
- Tradeable: These premium currencies are earned in-game. The user may also buy and sell it on the Open Loot marketplace with other players. These premium currencies are not sold directly by the Open Loot platform.
- Basic: These premium currencies will not be sold on Open Loot, nor can they be traded between players. However, they will have full API functionality.

Tradeable
Tradeable premium currency is sold by users, and bought by users. It can only be traded in stacks, which you will define as a set amount of premium currency. A user will list a number of stacks they want to sell, as well as a price per stack. Buyers will automatically buy the lowest priced stacks available of all the stacks listed. The revenue share for tradeable premium currency is 95% to the selling user, 2.5% to the partner, and 2.5% to the Open Loot platform. When selecting "Tradeable", you will need to provide the following information:
- Stack Size: The amount of premium currency contained in one stack. When determining this amount, keep in mind that the minimum list price for a stack is $1. For example, if you had a stack size of 25 premium currency, then the floor value of that premium currency would be $1 divided by 25, or $0.04 per premium currency. The higher your stack size, the lower the floor value will be.
- Max Stacks per Purchase: The maximum number of stacks a user can buy in one single transaction.
- Max Sell Price per Stack: The maximum price a user can set when selling a stack.
- Max Stacks User can List for Sale: The maximum number of stacks a user can list for sale at one time.
